The Rotaract District 9110 organize the 2019/2020 Rotary foundation seminar at Keystone Bank hall of the Rotary District 9110 Centre in Lagos on Saturday 16th November, 2019.
The event which was slated to enable Rotaractors to advance in world understanding, and to enhance the spirit of goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty through donating in The Rotary Foundation.
Speaking at the event, PAG Susan Omotosho a guest speaker at the event when asked about getting funds for Rotaract clubs from the Rotary Foundation, replied that it can be gotten through the District Rotary grants for clubs.
Also at the event, PDR (PAG) Ayodele Olumoko in a paper presented at the seminar, highlighted the eradication against Polio, fighting diseases, supporting education and ending hunger to mention but few as the major reasons to support TRF.
Highlighting the event was the Paul Harris Fellow honors awarded to 10 lucky Rotaractors within the Rotaract district. It must be recalled that a holder of the Paul Harris honor must either have directly donated $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation, or have people donate the same Fee on their behalf to be recognized as one.
11 winners were selected from a free and fair raffle draw process and the lucky ones emerged as the new Paul Harris Fellows. The winners include:
