ANOTHER EVENT TO REMEMBER

Saturday, August 22nd is another date to write on the wall as the Rotaract District Membership Team had her Membership Seminar 2020 as earlier scheduled.
.
The event which started at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 22nd was one of it’s kind the District hasn’t experienced in years as Rotaractors, Guests and Rotarians in attendance has a good time from start to finish.
.
The event which had two interesting and interactive guest speakers, Rtn. (AG) Tayo Adelaja of the Rotary Club of Gbagada who spoke on the topic “Building Purpose, Corporate Setting” and Rtn. (AG) Lolade Ogungbe of the Rotary Club of Isolo speaking on “Engagement Equals Retention” wasn’t a regular seminar but also had clubs engagement by inducting 9 new members to their respective Clubs while about 7 were denied induction for not meeting the standard requirements.
Their induction was further postponed to October 10th which happens to be the official Investiture Ceremony of the DRR for the Rotary Opens Opportunities year 2020-2021.

The event which took place at the Rotary Centre and Zoom platform had a huge turnout of Rotaractors, Rotarians and Guest with a total of 114 Participants
.
It was another color added to celebrate hardwork and deligence as the District Rotaract Representative, Rtr. Adedeji Windapo was honored and decorated as a Paul Harris Fellow by his sponsor, Rtn. PP Ademola Olutusin of Rotary Club of Gbagada South as the Rotary Youth Service Chairperson, Rtn. (AG) Busola Satuyi presenting him the certificate with the help of other Rotarians present.

And yet a other activity came to play as the We Care Team gave out birthday cards apart from the soft copies which has been circulating on different groups to Rotaractors who celebrated their birthdays between July and August…
