Rotaract District 9110 and Rotaract Club of Lekki phase1 Empowered 248 Participants

Excitement as Rotaract District 9110 and Rotaract Club of Lekki phase1 empowered 248 graduands

In a bid to encourage skills acquisition and increase in entrepreneurial opportunities, the Rotaract district 9110 on Sunday 22nd September,2019 presented certificates to participants of the vocational training held at Lagos island local government Zapas.

The one month vocational empowerment training which started on the 19th of August, 2019 and ended on Sunday September 22nd,2019 was in partnership with the Rotaract club of Lekki phase 1 and the Lagos island local government, Zapas.

Two hundred and forty eight participants from across all vocational works such as barbing, hairdressing, Tailoring,Make-up and gele, baking, web design and event decorations etc benefitted from this programme

The event also saw best students in various chosen fields empowered with equipments and machines such as oven, sewing machines, clippers, make-up tools and hairstylist equipments to aid them with their works

The programme which saw in attendance the District Rotaract Representative, Constance Fifekemi Jaiyeola, chairman Lagos island local
Government, Hon. Adetoyese Olusi, Chairman Revenue Committee Lagos Island Local Government Mr. Owolabi Ajenifuja, Rotaractor Lanre Fadipe president of Rotaract club of Lekki Phase1 and other prominent members of the society.

Speaking after the event, the District Rotaract representative, Constance Jaiyeola urged the graduands to hone their skills and be a very good ambassadors of themselves and their respective families.
