Rotaract District 9110NG in partnership with 8 clubs within the District and a club from District 9125 Nigeria went highway in extending their cheerful heart of giving to empower individuals of the ARA Community of Osun State, Nigeria.

The team of dedicated Rotaractors went extra mile to make a long lasting impact in the lives of the unknown individuals that are dearly in need.

On Friday, 14th of May, The ALARA of Ara Kingdom – HRM Oba (Dr.) Olubayo Adesola Windapo welcomed the train of Rotaractors into the ARA Community with a mind blowing reception at the Palace.

Rotaractors with their joyful heart of SERVICE through FUN, couldn’t settle to be bored at any point in time, set out on a tour around town in preparation for the project execution happening the next day.

A wonderful night was well spent at OSHOGBO.

On the 15th May, 2021 Rotaractors of Rotaract District 9110NG and members of Rotaract E-club of Greater Nigeria D9125 converged at the Palace of the ALARA of ARA KINGDOM for the Project Execution.

The ALARA in Council, Members of the ARA Community of Osun State, Students of Primary and Secondary Schools within the Community and other beneficiaries were all on standby.

After all formal proceedings and introduction has been made, ably led by DRR Adedeji A. WINDAPO alongside DRRN Abdullahi A. AFOLABI – The ALARA of ARA KINGDOM, HRM Oba (Dr) Olubayo Adesola Windapo declared the project open with his Royal blessings alongside Chiefs of the ALARA in Council.



500 Exercise books and about 100 Textbooks (English and Mathematics) were donated to students of Primary and Secondary Schools of the community, the schools are as listed below:

  1. Community Grammar School, Ara
  2. Baptist Grammar School
  3. Baptist Day School
  4. Young Tajudeen
  5. Better Link Schools
  6. Ebenezer Baptist Day School

Rotaract club of Lagos (UNILAG) D9110 co-sponsored the donation of Textbooks on core subjects like English Language and Mathematics to all Secondary Schools.

A total of 4 Grinding Machines, 5 Sewing Machines and 2 Barbing Clippers were donated to the beneficiaries below:

All items were jointly donated by all participating clubs with the privilege of all club president present and their members.

It was quite an emotional and mind-blowing experience as the King and the Chiefs of ALARA in Council showed profound gratitude and shared encomium to praise the efforts of the District and all participating clubs.

The Beneficiaries also showed appreciation and promised to use the items judiciously and in return develop the Economy of their immediate Community.

Saving our planet, lifting people out of poverty, advancing economic growth… these are one and the same fight.
We must connect the dots between global health, food security and women’s empowerment.
Solutions to one problem must be solutions for all.
